I agree that the name doesn't reflect much on the sport. I'm a huge American Football (Gridiron) fan and a huge world wide Football fan. I love them both for what they are. Two different sports. It's not fair to put one down just because it doesn't have what the other one does. I recommend you give American football a try. Watch a few games this coming season, pick a team most appealing to you. Just try it. You might like it. Not as action packed but rather each play has a significant importance

exactly if you don't know the rules than don't try to shut it down, I have no disrespect for soccer/football player and yes american football has a stupid name. Just don't try and make fun of it. 99% of soccer/football players would literally die in a NFL game

its not called soccer mate, its called football, for a reason, YOU KICK THE BALL WITH YOUR FEET ALL THE TIME IN STEAD OF HOLD. football not soccer. why is american football called that anyway, you hardly tough the ball with your feet ever. on occaisons maybe, i dont know the rules.
